The CYSA Half-Year Travel Soccer Program begins in December, following the conclusion of the Fall Recreational season. This program runs independently from Fall Rec and is designed for players and coaches who want to continue developing in a structured, competitive, and supportive environment.
With a focus on growth, equal play opportunities, and strong coaching, the program provides the next step for players looking to expand their soccer experience. Please note: space in the program is limited due to available coaches, field access, and overall player interest. Teams will be formed based on these factors, and placement cannot be guaranteed.

FAQs
How much travel is expected?
During the Winter, all games and practices are held at Wide World in North Smithfield. During the spring season, all travel will be local and within driving distance.
What is included in the registration cost?
The cost for the program includes both the winter and spring session practices/games and the uniform kit.
When are the games and the practices?
This will be determined once teams are formed which happens once registration closes. Practices are held one night during the week and games can be on either a Saturday or Sunday. While we understand that players have other commitments, we do not have control over the game schedules as that goes through Wide World for the winter and SuperLiga for the spring.
What if I only want to do one of the 2 sessions?
At this time, our Travel Half Year program is designated for winter and spring and the commitment would be for both.
Should I sign my child up for Travel?
Travel is designed for the player that is looking to take the next step after Rec without the commitment of a club level program. Your player will be part of a team for 2 continuous sessions, build on their skillset, and truly be a part of a team to learn and grow together.
Who should I reach out to if I have questions?
