CYSA exists to help children in the development of positive life skills and experiences. Using soccer as our
tool, we endeavor to provide safe, enjoyable opportunities for all children as they learn to play the game.

Our mission is to teach fundamentals that will guide our children both on and off the field, including good
sportsmanship, character, discipline, competitiveness, leadership and teamwork in a positive, caring and safe
environment. All children participating in our programs will have an opportunity to learn and compete while
knowledgeable volunteers promote the philosophies and principles of community and fair play, while sharing with
their coaches and teammates the emotions of success and failure.

Zero Tolerance Policy

This is a reminder that CYSA has a strict Zero Tolerance Policy when it comes to

dealing with our players, coaches and referees. No one is to yell or argue with a

referee about any calls. Further, no one should yell at a player or coach on the

field. Cheering only for fair play is encouraged. Remember, these are our children

who are developing as soccer players, referees and individuals. Our mission is to

help them have fun, develop their soccer skills, learn about competition, team
work and sportsmanship. Please help set a good example. Violators of this policy

will be asked to stop and could face ejection and suspension if poor behavior

continues.
